Description
Sample cups for preparation of sample analysis on a portable XRF analyser. These cups are standard 4 µm prolene film. Cups are sold individually, ina box of 12, or box of 48. Cups with Mylar are also available by request only.
Why use this?
Sample cups are used for just that – sampling! They are great to use with a variety of sample types such as pulps, rock chips and soil. Sample cups minimise the build up of material on the XRF window. This therefore minimises the need to change the window as often. When small dust particles do appear, we recommend using a cleaning brush to lightly dust them away from the window analysis area.
Sample cups can also be sealed with the lid provided, which means the samples can be stored long term. This means that when reanalysis happens at a later time without, there is little threat of loss or cross contamination.
Who needs this?
Sample cups are recommended for those conducting analysis on loose sample types such as pulp, rock chips and soil. It is also recommended for those wanting to store samples long term for future analysis.
Please note: PSS portable XRF hires do not include sample cups. These need to be purchased as an additional item.
