CTX CounterTop XRF 

Portable, small, light-weight, safety-interlocked, and battery operated. At less than 7 kilograms in weight, the self-contained CTX is truly portable, and has a small footprint of 14 cm in width.

The CTX uses a 4W X-ray source featuring Bruker’s patented SharpBeam™ optimised X-ray geometry, a high-performance silicon drift detector (SDD) with Bruker’s patented DetectorShield™, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® and USB connectivity. The CTX’s touchscreen user-interface provides measurement control and results display. Additionally, Bruker’s Toolbox PC software enables full remote operation of the CTX and optional PC software includes Bruker’s Artax™ for advanced qualitative, semi-quantitative composition analysis, as well as EasyCal™ for user-defined empirical correlations.

Models

The CTX 800 model is our highest specification model in the CTX Countertop series. We recommend this model for exploration and mining alloys or environmental analysis where you are looking for sensitivity to light elements. Specifically, this model excels at targeting the light elements for custom calibrations.

The CTX 600 model is our second highest specification model in the CTX Countertop series. It is less sensitive than the 800 model, however it still is capable of detecting the same light elements. We recommend this model for mining applications, RoHs, environmental soils, or PMI needing light element capability. Features of the CTX 600:

The CTX™ 500s model is ready to go, factory calibrated to comply with MARPOL regulations for sulfur in fuel oil testing. They measure up to 1000 ppm (0.1%) sulfur with an error less than ±100 ppm sulfur in 60 or 30 seconds with an LOD of 30ppm (3σ) and an LOQ of 100ppm (10σ).
